When I came back from school I went and check my two fish tank I saw my ruby green breed in the strawberry pot. She was mouth full. Is it ok to feed the other rest or should I don't feed them at all? Should I feed or not?

I use to feed them after they spawned but I quit over the last year. I started to change after losing a couple of spawns after 1 day. I wait now for 2 to 3 days after they spawn. The eggs start to have eyes and tails, and the females tend to hold better after this.
