Going to start a thread about my P macs. I have been breeding them for about 1.5 years now and have distributed about 200 fish. This thread is going to be an informative species profile. Anyone can add anything about this species on the thread. I just wanted to get something down for those who have the fish and are interested in breeding them.

Here is a little vid i got about 2 weeks ago, making good use of a clay pot.

I'm not fb. I feel like I've seen this video before, though. Is it on Youtube?

From the P Macs I got from Dre I had one successful spawn, and missed one. They should be ready to spawn again soon.

Dre how long is it between spawns is it for you?

About 2 weeks if they get conditioned. I was going through the tank every two weeks and pulling out some females. but if the males get to mean the females dont eat and dont get conditioned. that was the problem i developed with my first group. my females lost weight and were skinny.

i dont usually keep them to long in a separate tank but a couple feedings would not hurt before they go back to the main tank.

I had one female that did not eat for 3 weeks after she spawned. One week in the main tank, and 2 weeks in a 20 gallon by herself. All together she did not eat for 5 weeks. She has ate for 2 weeks now in the 20, I think I'm going to leave her there for one more week.
