after the water change today i saw one of my female Neochromis Omnicaerulus Makobe Island tube was showing. i know that she will breed later on and now when i came back and take a look again she was holding already.. i hope to have fry from them.

day three today she ate all the eggs. but it ok it her first time and ill let her hold until she learn. plus my female nyererei mwanza female breed today and it a mouth full. :)

yea that happens a lot at first. sometimes they just dont fertilize and she eats them.

A tip: i always let them hold full term the first couple of spawns, it helps instill the holding. then later on you can strip if you need to. If you start stripping they hold very short term , then if you miss them spawning you dont get any more fry.
