Dave rare fish have some Psammochromis riponianus Boyanga, Uganda for sale. These are very rare in the hobby. If I didn't already have them I would jump on them in a hart beat.

The seller on Aquabid is Mike Helweg. I bought ten from him at $1 each and he sent me 16. I would highly recommend these fish.

Lawrence Kent visits and travels in Uganda on occasion as a part of his job. He pays some of the locals to find fish for him to photograph. I believe that he collected this fish and brought it to the US. Greg Steeves knows a lot more about this than I do.

Hi I would highly recommend to call this fish H.sp"Boyanga" because its belonging to the species Psammochromis riponiannus is very far from obvious anatomically speaking.

Hi I got the info from Lawrence who caught the fish and make them spawned, it was caught at Bugenga, on a sandy substrate with few rocks so this fish should be called H.sp"Bugenga"
xris :)
