The approximate sizes of the fish in our home page depend on my experiences by keeping them. But some of our members who visited the university of Leiden /NL or the institute of Ole Seehausen told me about some specimen which had a bigger size. May be they were wild caughts.

Hey me,

Hey Me,
a well done job is yours - respect.
One correction:
haplochromis piceatus is the same as yssichromis piceatus.
But haplochromis piceatus is not the same as yssichromis pyrrhocephalus.
In your list seems, that they are the same, that´s wrong - and then, there ist a pic lost.

Greetings
Thomas

Hey sorry for the late reply, I thought I already replied  I believe I corrected the mistake, but please tell me if I am wrong.

Also I am counting 22 species on this pic list, which ones are missing? I would like to work on this list a bit more in the days to come.

The missing one is Yssichromis piceatus.
I think Yörg has frys from this spezies, not from Yssichromis pyrrhocephalus.

Thanks Thomas, I misunderstood the first time, but I think I got it right this time, if not I don't mind being corrected again ;)

So does Marco have Yssichromis pyrrhocephalus?

Do I really have all of the available species pictured though? There seems to be more on Big Jims list, and also I noticed differences in the number of fry available from his list to mine. Mostly I just want to be sure we have correct numbers, but of course if I am missing any others, I would love to add pics.

A wave of excitement is building for me, how about everyone else? :)

The list was sent to me by Axel. I added the prices yesterday. I also took some off that they don't have fry. Everyone needs to check the list again make sure your fish are on it.

Thanks Jim, I just want to make sure we are on the same page. I wanted to do this pic list so everyone could easily see what each species looks like, but I also want to be sure not to cause any confusion since we are dealing with so many species!

I saw the prices earlier today, good work! I am debating adding another species or two to my list :?

If that was the final price Jim I would probably want 6 to 8 species ;)

This week begins my drive for hard cash. I will be selling pretty much everything non fish or music related. Though I will be selling some guitars. Anyone want an early 1930's Slingerland (Maybell) blues guitar? 8)
