Absolutely incredible. First there was the limited wild caughts from 2007, then the French fish sent through Old World to HCCC, and now the German fish to COV. We all have so many more choices than I ever figured we'd ever have.

WOW, I would like to thank all our friends over in Germany. A special thanks to Axel and Marcos, for helping us with this. I know it was not easy.

I would like to thank everyone here who was involved in this shipment. I just think we have pulled off the biggest Victorian shipment ever.

Now we just need to get the fish to their new homes.

Yes, thanks to all the Europeans for the hard work they did for this shipment, and the excellent breeding they have done.
I know I was a bit worried when I seen the guy bring over the pallet, always a little worried looking at boxes of fish.

Soon as we opened the boxes we saw the fish were beautifully packed, and are very eager to get to their new homes after a few days of good food, great alkaline water, and relaxation while visiting the great state of California.
Maybe they will even spawn while on vacation here with us, before they get home!!!

To my knowledge this is the biggest Victorian shipment the United States ever. I could be wrong, but I have not seen one this big in the last ten years. Not only the amount of fish 600, but the amount of species. We just brought in 32 different species/collection point.

Great job everyone.

We here in Germany and in Sweden are happy that the shiping was successful. :D
You in the US are happy to get the fish. :D
The fish are happy to get bigger tanks. :D :D
Can someone wish more?
Yes we can. We would like to hear from each of you when your new species have their first fry.
Good luck!!!
Axel

Hey guys,

thanks for all the recognition of the shipment.
It was a difficult time for me during the last 3 weeks, but, nevertheless, has worked still everything.
It is an honour for me to continue our project "species preservation of the Lake Victoria Cichlides now in the USA.

Marco

I counted 30 once the Kenyan Golds were removed. I noticed that one species was listed under two different names, maybe two were.

Enterochromis cf. paropius = (Haplochromis Sp "broken bar")
Lithochromis Rubripinnis = (Hapolochromis Sp "blue Pseudonigricans")
