I've been lucky enough to have kept 3 strains of chilotes coming from Zue, Ruti and Makobe Islands.
Here are some examples.
Makobe male - a blue grey base colour with red edges to fins, difficult to get a picture of this one

Congrats Paul, at my house the Makobe strain is much more paler than on yur pics, it depends also on the light of the aquarium, being darker in a darker decor.

Hi xris, the Makobe strain were fish left behind from what i brought with me last summer for Emilio coming from Hull Uni'
I was lucky enough to have 1 male and 3 females :P
I have since passed them on to a friend who is rearing some young while i concentrate on the Ruti.
