just some picture of my vics.

2 male and 2 female pundamilia nyererei mwanza

3 male and 5 female paralabidochromis rock kribs

1 male and 3 female neochromis omnicaerulus makobe island

im making sure that they wont cross breed. they are all house in a 55gal.

If they're housed together, you can't make sure they won't cross breed. You can cull obvious hybrids, or never remove fry from the tank, but if Vics of different species are together, you run the risk of crossbreeding. Period.

Hi Kuni it's not sure at all, the species are sufficiently different to not cross. I keep for about 15 years vics in community and have very feww cross breeding, not more than in malawi for example.

i have them for like almost 3 month now and they didnt cross breed. my pundamilia spawn with his female.. and my rock kirbs male breed with his own own female too.. about my neochromis omni makobe island they havent breed but male start to showing to his female. and i dont think they will cross breed or hybrid.

Most of the time this will be true. But if a tank has a hyperdominant male, he may mate with all females. I prefer to err on the side of caution.

Hi yu're right but if yu take some cautions, then it's not a problem at all. If the fishes are relatively different from each others, then the risk is limited
