Is Haplochromis/Astatotilapia bloyeti or "green bloyeti" still in the hobby? It seems like a cool little river hap.

Just be aware that some of the bloyeti floating around the US hobby right now are suspected to actually be a local varient of Astatotilapia calliptera.

Obtained these as "bloyeti" from someone I am sure did not interbreed nor try to sell them as something he did not buy them as. Having never seen/kept Hap. bloyeti or A. calliptera before I don't know what they are but with few pictures of "bloyeti" to go by and many of calliperta, I am more likely to say they were calliperta. Does the correct H. bloyeti get red on the forehead? Ended up with all males and gave them away for a display tank.

That's a picture of Haplochromis (Astatotilapia) calliptera. Almost all the pictures I've seen of supposed bloyeti in the US are indeed calliptera.
