Not to stir the pot again (too much).

But... when america was most booming the top income earners paid a 70% tax rate, and OMG they still were successful !!! The thing to remember is we are not talking about the wealthy, we are talking about the super wealthy who actually use (and abuse) the infrastructures (highways, water systems, waste systems) more (much more) than the average citizen (nevermind poor vs well off).. and pay no federal income tax!! NONE. They used too, and this country boomed. When they stopped this country started sliding down hill. They pit us against each other and try to separate us as Tea Party or 99%, but they are one and the same. If you want government out of business, you first need Business out of government because I assure you, no one here has a business which is shaping the tax laws. Those businesses are controlling our government only for a bit more excess in their already soaring dividends.

"We are all in this together." (Robert De Niro from the movie BRAZIL) .. but they are in it for power at any expense, not us.

Sorry, but I gots love for all, and all need to get on the same page so we can throw them bastards overboard. :D

i ship about 30-40 packages a month and for the over all spectrum i have found that the USPS is the least of the three evils.

If you figure in Price, Value, and Service they barely edge out UPS

At one time I was shipping fish out like you. This is when I was selling a lot on Aquabid and Ebay. Now days I have slowed down and doing more things with my wife and kids.

I agree USPS is the least of the 3 evils. If we had SouthWest Airlines here I would use them, but we have no SouthWest here in Fresno. :( :( :( :(

it is hit or miss, i never had any problems with ups but i dont use them very much. i shipped about 200 packages 2 years ago with fedex and had no problems. only a few losses and a couple delays but nothing major. i have no complaints with fedex except it is to expensive. even at 30 packages a month the break is not that much. 30 a week is a better story.

usps just does not care any more. i talked to another guy here in tampa that sent out a box that had the corner ripped off. the package did not make it out of tampa, they returned it to the guys house. he has had 8 packages in the last 2 weeks get messed up by usps, but some of that was with the bad storms that ran through the northeast last week. 2 packages made it to the wrong cities somehow....

anyway, the risks are high when shipping, unless you ship overnight and ship a ton of packages a week you pay to much for shipping.
