No, but I put the young him/her in a small molly breeder isolatin box in the same tank.

the male and females have grown as well the male is more than 2.5 inches now and still growing,
but I only feed a small pinch of omega one veggie flakes for one meal the reg. flakes the next meal and them Xtreme cichlid pee wee 1.5 mm pellets the first meal the next day. only 2 small feedings a day.

The male is like 31/2inchs now.
But if it is cola red and sized as a female but has eggspots.

What size tank do you have them in? I have 15 in a 90 gal and the alpha male is a good 4 inches. I haven't had any trouble with fighting.
