I was at the Old World site and can't find out how to order from them. Do they sell to the public or do they just sell to wholesellers as I am interested in buying some fish from them. There is nothing on the site on contacting them. Thanks

They sell to wholesalers, with I think $750 min order. That could change with the economy as bad as it is.

My LFS occasionally orders from them. If I see something I want on their web site, the LFS will order them for me.

You could always try a group buy. Maybe Washington fish box members would be in, or Gpas.

Kevin, do they charge you extra or just the usual retail markup?

You are in Oregon.

Steve Lundblad of cichlid exchange is in Portland.
I just got back from Africa with him, he orders from Old World all the time. Tell him what you want, and he will make a order from Laif.

Thanks TR6.

I forgot to change the state I am located in. I now reside in CA because of a job offer. It was hard trying to find a job where I lived in OR.

I am trying to find a LFS that orders from Old World. I have found a couple of LFS that sell quite a few cichlids, but only a handful of vics and questioned if they are hybrids as they don't look right.

You could always come down and see myself or Bigjim, I think we have the largest collection of Vic's in the state.

:)
