I cant ship out now with how hot it is..... averaging in the 90's. If I used usps right now it would be bags of fish stew......

I only use the 72 hour heat packs. They don't get near as hot but they maintain the heat for 72 hours.

Fern, when I first got my xmas fulu I kept them at 90 because that was what the first Vic sites I found recommended. I won't say I recommend it, but I will say they were very colorful and active without any health issues during this time. Not sure how many vics this would work for, but the Fulu seemed fine. Even had the temp slip up to 92 once so this species I would feel comfortable shipping in the low 90's with plenty of air.

I ship all summer long. Here in Cali it gets up to 110 where I live. I try not to ship when it's over 100, but I have never had a problem when I do.

Its going from the hot to the cold that I worry about, tends to stress the fish and invite disease and issues.
I also am neurotic when shipping fish, only 16 doa on my record for the 2 years that I have been shipping out lots of fish... last shipment was 3 large boxes
