Hi all
These were purchased as Haplochromis spec. yellow belly (aeneocolor), some seem to be but there appears to be another species in there too....What do you think the fish on the left is?

Hi On the top left is Pudamilia nyererei and on the right, H.aeneocolor

Hi It's impossible to tell from this pic, even, it's quite hard to distinguish two close populations as ruti and makobe. But if yu have a dominating fish in pic, I can try.

Greg Steeves published a good article specifically on the Pundamilia nyererei. Unfortunately it is older and does not include the newly described Kissenda & Senga our members have here. :roll: :P
