here are some more pics of my strain. i moved them from a 40gbr to a 55g since i saw a female holding. the males are much bigger than i thought. they are starting to look nice, and they are about 3" now.

maybe they are the same strain as the ones that kevin b has on his site. much different coloring that the strain from igv. maybe kevin will chime in.

you you mind if i show your pics to chris? there is some debate concerning weather or not all the red flank came from one single collection point, or two i think this makes a good case for two.

what species is that under the rock in the first picture?

same, right now it is only red flanks in that tank. yea go ahead. anything i post if up for grabs. it makes no difference to me.

there could be two collection points or variants. i bet if we went back tomorrow to get kyoga flamebacks they would not look like the aquarium strains we have today. they seem to evolve pretty fast in the lake.

just an update to help keep track of this euro species, these have been distributed to

big jim
dre
jhon sandoval in tennesee
texas aqua gardens
one vic head local who asked not to be named

on feb the 14th some will be shipped to minn, and dave s.

i have many still to pass around. so if you want some let me know so i can include you on the 2/14
shipping date. { i should also say that thoes who didnt get all thier species in the euro shipment will have priority.}

i also have started a second group for breeding, 4 from each female that has prodiced.
