Do you have background on three sides?

The back of the tank is black acrylic, I don't use backgrounds in any of my tank, unless you count algae.
But there is enough coral crud on the sides that they can tell where the tank ends.

So the sump calculates out to 320g, the tank is 240g.... so its a 560g system

I could use any aquatic plant at this point! I've spent roughly $150 on plants and its still pretty bare. I've been trying for variety in there so that when I have to trim it all down I can sell or pass along the cuttings. I think I'm close to 15-20 kinds so far.
It seems to be running very well, lets see how well it handles the double bio load it will be getting in the morning. A box of fish just landed for me and there's a gaggle of mooriis in there of various sizes... along with some others headed for other tanks.
The plants are all showing a fair amount of fresh growth sense I hooked the tank to the sump, I think my giant hygro has grown a good inch already. So that means that the plants are doing their job.

I wish the tank was easier to get pics of, there's so much reflection and glare and warping.... I want to try to get a semi decent video of feeding time, Its pretty funny to watch!

I think I have only had 3 plants die, but those were iffy to start with, most of the plants are going crazy. I had to top some of them today!

I have made a seine net just for the tank, its got little feet on it and everything so that it can free stand. I just get the fish cornered with that and then net them. I'm going to wait till the 15th or 16th to pull my holding female, I have been told that they spit in the net most of the time. That way if she spits it will be free swimmers or pretty darn close to it. and I will turn the light off for an hour or so and let them go to sleep before I swoop in with the net
