If you're a hard core Vicophile with a masochistic streak you really ought to move heaven and eart to get a copy of Ole Seehausen's book

There are pictures of fish in it that would have you eating your heart out!

Oh yeah, I've been scouring the world for a copy of Lake Victoria Rock Cichlids for months and months. Eventually found one in Britain and it arrived 2 days ago.

I was going to scan some pics but thought I might breach copyright.

PS last time I looked there was one on Amazon. $US175.00

Who else has this book?

Just have someone take some pics over your shoulder of you reading it, and we will all pretend we are looking at you and not the book.

Its a good book.
main drawback is that most of the fish shown are from the Mwanza gulf, a very tiny portion of the lake, so as amazing as the book is with all the different pictures in there, it still only shows a very tiny portion of the fish in the lake.

pretty much you need this book, and mark smiths book.
good thing about mark smiths book is that its a barron's book, so you can find for $5.

keep checking aquabid, Ole's book shows up now and then.

Good God, I could never read a whole book on the computer. Guess you could print it, but the printer ink and paper may cost you as much as the book

I guess I am lucky. There are 3 copies at the local university.

Wow. I bought it quite some time ago at the Ohio Cichlid Extravaganza and I think I only paid around $75.
