Thanks guys!
I got Purkle for my boyfriend for his birthday because he kept saying I should get some purple fish, so I saw the for sale pic of him over on usafishbox.com and snatched him up
Then I wasn't gonna get another betta..... saw a picture of Opal and had to get him!

Allen had some 5 star fighting bettas at one time. They are not a good looking as these but they were fighters not lookers. 5 star fighting bettas go for $50 to $75 in our area.

You have some very nice looking bettas.

The lady I got these from breeds the halfmoons, they tend to run about $10 for the males. I got both of these guys when they were 3-4 months old. I have thought about breeding them but I think I have enough breeders at this point!

Allen bred them before it's not that easy. If you are not careful the male will kill the female. Even after they breed you have to have micro worms for the fry. The fry are so small that brine shrimp is to big for them to eat.

Yeah, betta are very challenge to breed for those who don't know. It's very simple and easy. I have breed over 1000 plus betta frys in the past. Bad part, usually the male will end up killing the female, gotta keep an eye on that.
