I have been in contact with Claudia Dickinson from CARES (www.CARESPreservtion.com). We are looking forward to implementing the CARES Program on the forum, which will be known as Cichlids of Victoria CARES. We will be working with Claudia and the CARES Team on this.

Here is some info we will need when all the fish come in from Europe.

1) their name
2) their address
3) their telephone number (optional)
4) name of each species
5) where and/or from whom each species was obtained
6) location of origin of each species where applicable
7) date each species was obtained

Photos of each species once in members tanks and acclimated may be required for final registration.

As of now it looks as if we are bringing in 32 different species to the US. This is a great start.

Ok, FINALLY

I have had a chance to look at the Cares package and I must say.. OH MY

I will work on absorbing all of this information and try to decide how the database should be constructed for best/easiest functionality. It would be great if I could set this up for an online application. Then all the management of the project could happen with the least bit of management.
