Hi there, my name is Mark and I have recently started keeping Victoria cichlids here in Nairobi. Have built my own tank and gotten a few 'wild catch' fish to get started with. Will post some pictures so guys can help identify what I actually have. Ready to make my contribution to conservation, legal trade, research, building a network of local experts, etc. Running my own firm upande.com in my spare time 8)

Thanks for the welcome guys, have posted http://www.cichlidsofvictoria.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=1281 a few videos of some of my new fish spawning. Any confirmation on species more than welcome. All come from Hippo Point, Kenya. Have some Pseudocrenilabrus victoriae too.

Hello Mark, if yu want people to ;identify some of yur species, yu'll have to specify
1 where the fish was collected( the locale name)
2 in what type of habitat
3 at what depth, offshore or inshore( means in exposed waves part or inside the holes in the reef)
4 by posting photos of males and females in different moods that are much more easier to id than moving fishes on vid
xris :)
